Footwear needs variant-first commerce

Shoes create a demanding catalog: size availability matters at every step, products can have many variants, and cross-border sourcing requires realistic delivery communication. Customers also need confidence that totals, coupons, delivery charges, and inventory cannot be manipulated in the browser.

The product was structured around those operational constraints instead of treating them as add-ons.

From discovery to tracking

  • Search, filters, categories, and campaign-led discovery
  • Size and product variant selection
  • Guest and signed-in carts
  • Wishlist, profile, addresses, and customer orders
  • COD and manual payment verification workflows
  • Order tracking by order number and contact detail

Server-authoritative commerce

Pricing, coupons, delivery fees, and payable totals are recalculated on the server. Atomic stock handling and database Row Level Security protect inventory and customer data. The administration surface covers products, inventory history, orders, customers, promotions, delivery zones, payment methods, reviews, messages, staff roles, and reports.

Built for real operational growth

Courier and payment integrations use abstraction layers so official APIs can be added without rewriting the customer experience. Unit tests cover core commerce logic, while end-to-end tests cover complete user flows. Administrative reports support CSV export and inventory changes maintain an audit trail.

The feature and architecture summary is grounded in the authenticated private source repository and the live public storefront. No credentials, private customer data, or administrator screens are exposed here.
